Contrary to WWE storylines, Kane and Undertaker are not real brothers. However, we’ve created a list of 13 actual family relationships you should know!
1. Matt and Jeff Hardy
Known as The Hardy Boyz, these brothers gained fame with their high-flying and risk-taking style, particularly in tag team ladder and table matches. Their distinct style influenced a generation of wrestlers and left a mark on the tag team division.
Both have much success as singles competitors, too.
Matt Hardy has won three world championships, which include one ECW Championship and two TNA World Heavyweight Championships.
Similarly, Jeff Hardy has had an impressive singles career, winning six world championships, starting with the WWE Championship in 2008. He has also held WWE’s World Heavyweight Championship twice and the TNA World Heavyweight Championship three times.
2. Bo Dallas and Bray Wyatt
Bo Dallas and Bray Wyatt, real-life brothers with a rich wrestling heritage, were never acknowledged as siblings on WWE TV despite their decade-long tenure in the promotion.
Their careers took different paths, with Bray Wyatt notably leading sinister factions like the Wyatt family. On the other hand, Bo Dallas was known for his optimistic, motivational speaker gimmick.
Sadly, Bray Wyatt, real name Windham Lawrence Rotunda, passed away on August 24, 2023, at the age of 36 from a heart attack.
3. Dustin and Cody Rhodes
Sons of the legendary Dusty Rhodes, they’ve both had significant careers in wrestling. Cody co-founded All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and became popular with "The American Nightmare" persona, while Dustin, known as Goldust in WWE, was recognized for his unique gimmicks and impressive speed in the ring.
The brothers teamed up for a short yet emotional feud against The Shield in WWE.

4. Bret and Owen Hart
Part of the storied Hart wrestling family, Bret “The Hitman” Hart is considered one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, while Owen Hart is remembered not only for his in-ring ability but also his charismatic personality.
The sibling rivalry between them was a key storyline in the 1990s WWE, culminating in a class match at WrestleMania X.
Sadly, Owen Hart tragically died in the ring on May 23, 1999.
5. The Rock and Rocky Johnson
Dwayne Johnson, AKA The Rockโs charismatic performances in the ring have roots in his father, Rocky Johnson’s wrestling career. The Rock not only continued the family legacy in wrestling but transcended the sport to become a global icon in the entertainment industry.
6. Brie and Nikki Bella
Known as The Bella Twins, Brie and Nikki Bella have had successful careers in WWE, both as a tag team and as solo competitors, with Nikki Bella having a notable run as WWE Divas Champion. They also ventured into reality TV with Total Divas and Total Bellas.
7. Charlie and Russ Haas
Known as the Haas Brothers, they wrestled in the independent circuit before Russ’s untimely death on December 15, 2001, of heart failure in his sleep at the age of 27.
Charlie later had a WWE career, forming a tag team with Shelton Benjamin.
8. Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa
As members of the Bullet Club stable in New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa have won the IWGP Tag Team Championship multiple times as Guerrillas of Destiny.
Their dedication to excellence and their unique blend of agility and power have made them a fierce duo.
9. Jerry Lawler and Brian Christopher
Although their relationship was not initially acknowledged on-screen, Brian Christopher, known as "Grandmaster Sexay," and his father, Jerry "The King" Lawler, shared the wrestling stage in WWE, with Brian being part of the popular tag team called Too Cool.
Sadly, Brian Christopher died onย July 29, 2018, at the age of 46.
10. Booker T and Stevie Ray
Known as Harlem Heat, they were a dominant tag team in WCW during the ’90s, capturing the WCW World Tag Team Championship multiple times. Both Booker T and Stevie Ray set a standard for what it means to be a true tag team specialist.
Booker T is a six-time world champion in professional wrestling, winning the WCW World Heavyweight Championship five times and WWE’s World Heavyweight Championship once.
11. Terry and Dory Funk Jr.
They achieved success both as a tag team and in singles competition. Both Dory Jr. and Terry are former NWA World Champions, and Terry is remembered for setting the standard with his hardcore wrestling style.
They both are among the most accomplished pairs in the sportโs history.
12. Charlotte Flair and David Flair
Children of Ric Flair, Charlotte, has had a highly successful WWE career, while David had a brief wrestling career, including a stint in WCW.
Charlotte Flair followed her legendary father Ricโs footsteps into wrestling, quickly rising to the top of the womenโs division in WWE.
Her multiple championship reigns and high-profile feuds have solidified her place in wrestling history, often drawing comparisons to her fatherโs illustrious career.
Their brother Reid had a promising wrestling career cut short when he sadly passed away on March 29, 2013, at the age of 25.
13. Nemeth Brothers
Nic Nemeth is widely recognized for his run as "Dolph Ziggler" in WWE, while Ryan Nemeth is a wrestler in AEW. Both brothers have made their mark in the industry and are known for their athleticism and charisma.
While Undertaker and Kane’s sibling status was fictional, real-life family duos like the Hardy Boyz bring authentic family dynamics to the wrestling scene.
