Press Release on the Purchase of TheGorillaPosition.com

The following is an announcement from Ryan K. Boman, former owner of The Gorilla Position:

“When Mike Melchor and I announced that we would be suspending operations here at The Gorilla Position, we were approached by someone we truly feel is the best person to pick up the baton.

On July 28th, 2020, JP Zarka of ProWrestlingStories.com purchased the archives of The Gorilla Position. Our content is in good hands and we’re proud to have our legacy of articles live on through JP’s website — a site we feel preserves the history of professional wrestling better than any website on the net.

I’m very proud of the 3+ years that we ran The Gorilla Position, and very happy with how things turned out in the end. Thank you to everyone who has been a supporter, a contributor, or just a fan. It has been one of the greatest experiences of my life.”

With this acquisition, we are thrilled that you will be seeing their exceptional work on our website!

Quick Tip for Facebook Readers
Many of our readers find us through our Facebook page. Meta's built in browser (which opens by default on mobile) can occasionally freeze mid article, a known issue unrelated to our site. For uninterrupted reading: tap the three dots in the top right corner then select 'Open in external browser'. That usually resolves the glitch. Thanks for your support and we want your wrestling stories to stay as smooth as a top rope hurricanrana!
