The Dream’s reign was short-lived, however, as he would drop the title back to Race just five days later in Orlando.

Despite the elation of winning the title, Rhodesโ€™ reign as NWA World Heavyweight Champion was brief. Just five days later, on August 26, 1979, in Orlando, Florida, Harley Race would reclaim the title from Rhodes.
