During a shocking interview segment, Bobby “The Brain” Heenan displays Ric Flair’s WCW World championship title belt on a TV taping for an episode of WWF Wrestling Superstars. He informed the audience that the man who owned the belt was the real world’s champion and could be coming to the WWF.
In terms of historical perspective, it was the first time the World Wrestling Federation had acknowledged another wrestling company or wrestler outside of their ‘universe’.
