Beyond the main event, WrestleMania III was rich in storyline depth and wrestling quality across its card. One of the night’s most memorable matches was between Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat and “Macho Man” Randy Savage for the Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship.

This match, arising from a six-month feud that saw Steamboat hospitalized following a vicious attack by Savage, is often cited as one of the greatest wrestling matches in WrestleMania history.
