Greed registered the lowest PPV buys in WCW’s history, marking a melancholic conclusion to the company that had been WWF’s major competitor.
A last-ditch effort by Eric Bischoff and Fusion Media Ventures to buy the company was unsuccessful, allowing McMahon to acquire WCW at a remarkably low price.
