The Outsiders and Steiners traded the title back and forth at both televised and non-televised events until Scott Steiner eventually turned on his brother, joining the nWo and giving the title to Hall and Nash.
Despite attempts to resurrect the team later, including another title run in late 1999, Hall’s penchant for personal problems would derail the nWo’s dream team.
