This was an aggravated attack following a previous diagnosis on January 30, 1994.

The incident occurred just days after the passing of Ross’s mother, with doctors speculating that the stress from his loss triggered the condition.

Ross’s dedication and resilience were later celebrated, but he would not return to calling matches until WrestleMania XV, six months later.
