Today in Pro Wrestling History: On April 6th, 1984, after being denied service at a McDonald’s restaurant after hours, wrestlers Ken Patera and Masa Saito allegedly retaliated by throwing a large rock through the store’s window.

Upon returning to their hotel room, police officers arrived to arrest them, leading to an altercation with the officers. Sixteen months later, while Patera was with the WWF, both men were sentenced to two years in prison.
Masa Saito returned to professional wrestling, eventually winning the AWA World Heavyweight title in 1990. He passed away on July 14, 2018, due to complications from Parkinson’s Disease.
