WCW Monday Nitro

Behind the Curtain on Its Final Show

ERIC BISCHOFF: "For nearly three years, my company World Championship Wrestling kicked Vince McMahon’s ass. Nitro – WCW’s flagship show – revolutionized wrestling."

"WCW was the worst organized company I had ever worked for."

VINCE MCMAHON: "They gave me every personal assurance that they wouldn’t [sell to us]. But exorbitant money can change minds…"

PERRY SATURN: "Working for WCW was hell. Nobody was happy and everybody hated their job."

HULK HOGAN: “You can make a bunch of small mistakes, but you can make very few big ones. Once that big plane goes down, it’s hard to pull it up…”
