Pro Wrestling Stories

During his nearly three-decade-long career, Triple H faced three severe injuries within a short span of five years. Two of them were potentially career-ending, and another was close to being life-threatening.

The Injuries of Triple H Similar to sports, a wrestling match can be halted, yet wrestlers have demonstrated remarkable mental and physical resolve by completing matches despite their injuries. This was evident in each of Triple H's sustained injuries.

Triple H Injury #1: Quad Tear (left side) Triple H went to break up a ‘Walls of Jericho’ hold applied to his partner Stone Cold, and as he planted his left leg, his quad tore. It happened in a very innocuous manner but was perhaps a result of wear and tear and years of landing on the quad area from delivering pedigrees.

Triple H Injury #2: An Almost Life-Threatening Throat Injury He was unsure if his throat was completely crushed or not. Despite the struggle to breathe and speak, he persevered through the entire match. The Game faced severe throat swelling, fortunate that it didn't worsen beyond what it was.

Triple H Injury #3: A Second Quad Tear (right side) At the New Years Revolution pay-per-view in 2007, it was DX up against Rated RKO. During the course of the match, Triple H’s quad just gave out.
