In December 2018, the then Dean Ambrose (now Jon Moxley in AEW) gave us the most noteworthy promo of this character arc during an episode of Raw. WWE fans got quite invested, taking to social media to discuss what was clearly homage to the Dark Knight Rises’ big bad Bane.Sadly nothing really came out of it.
