Today In Pro Wrestling History: On March 2nd, 1993, The Hollywood Blonds, consisting of “Stunning” Steve Austin and “Flyin'” Brian Pillman, captured the WCW World Tag Team Championship by defeating Ricky Steamboat and Shane Douglas. This victory marked the only tag team title reign for The Hollywood Blonds in WCW. The match took place in Macon, Georgia, and was broadcast on a tape-delayed episode of World Wide Wrestling on March 27, 1993​.
